Handmade Media was a collaborative research project with artist Paul Catanese exploring the intersection of handcrafted media with handmade paper. My works produced during the collaboration were inspired by the crafts symbol system in the Republic of Georgia, where it is believed that some of the images are derived from ancient Amazonian cults celebrating female power. They were featured in the San Antonio city-wide exhibition, Luminaria.
