Since 2013, I have kept a blog called Gender Assignment to engage audiences on the topic of gender roles, play, and stereotypes. It includes interviews, guest blogs, and my own writing on the topic. Posts have been reblogged on other major publications like The Good Men Project. The project started in the exhibition, Construction curated by Sabina Ott at A+D Gallery.
My practice includes includes a series of essays created over fifteen years researching the Southeast European art scene for magazines like Metropolis M, Flash Art, BOMB, and Art Papers, samples of which can be found on my academia.edu page.
I also authored critical essays on socially engaged art, in particular, an introduction to Laura Anderson Barbata: Transcommunality, Interventions and Collaborations in Stilt Walking Communities, as well as the catalog funded by the Craft Research Fund for the show I curated, Social Paper. Other examples of my writing include blogs to accompany my projects, such as Felt Reports about my work in the Republic of Georgia, and Seeds InService, my project with Maggie Puckett.
